SIMPLICITY

thrive + simplicity.
to choose simplicity over the flashy.
to savor moments of grace.
to get the basics to pursue the growth.
to really see the most important amidst all the details.

I think simplicity models maturity.  Recognizing the real needs and real motivations in life.
Simplicity doesn't demand all the attention.  Sometimes it looks like focusing on others,  seeking gratitude in the everyday, re-purposing things instead of buying more stuff, sharing leftovers and real conversation rather than a fancy meal on a silver platter.

Jesus simplified things when asked about "the greatest commandment" with this:
"'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22:37-40
Until I can say, "Yes Jesus! I love you with all my heart and all my soul and all my mind,  and oh yeah, and all my neighbors as myself!" ---- I'll be over here trying to simplify in all the chaos and asking Him to help me love God and love others more like Jesus.
